      Cloud turns himself back around, stealing a quick kiss.
      He hadn’t meant to worry him, perhaps he was a little too serious, even when playing around.       It was taking time for the soldier to get used to these kinds of things again.

                                             “Sorry, was that a little too real- ??
                            I didn’t really think you were cheating on me with the floor.”

        He scoffed, letting Link go and turning his back.

                “Fine, have your floor. The bed is all I need anyway-!!”

          he was going to go all out for this joke. he’s going to huff, & pout for a brief moment.

               “Nope, floor can wait.”

    At least Link was a little warmer now, but that still didn’t keep Cloud from huffing in response. 
            “The floor doesn’t have arms, of course it would.”

    Cloud has his arms around Link now, and with his Mako enhanced super strength, the knight isn’t going to be able to escape anytime soon.

                 “Don’t make me fight the floor, Link. We both know I’d win…. Then we’ll need a new floor.”

                 Gently, he cards his fingers through Link’s messy hair.

            “Hey, no sleeping on the floor. You’re gonna be warmed up, alive, and with me.”

                                   Cloud gives Link a very quick kiss, no hard feelings.

            He may or may not be salty about that for a few minutes—- forgiveness or not.

Cloud was so snug and warm,     then it was all cold and honestly, he’d be lying if he denied the fact that he squeaked a little in surprise. It got his attention though, and he was soon turned over, wrapping his arms around the colder blond and sharing the warmth.

                     “It was cruel…    But I forgive you.”
